| Our Footage Packages give you a royalty-free license to use our standard-definition footage on a long-term basis. Perfect for TV stations, production companies, ad agencies and networks who have a long-term need for file footage. This alternative to per-second based licensing can save your company thousands in footage costs!
StormScenes Footage Packages: How to Order
Ordering a Footage Package is simple - you choose a number of standard-definition videos from our catalog and select your license term, and we'll send you a hard drive with your footage digitized and ready for NLE ingestion. You can use the footage in as many new projects as you want through the duration of your license term. Any works you create with our footage during the royalty-free term have an in-perpetuity license, meaning you can continue to use, display or broadcast the works even after your StormScenes Footage Package license expires. You'll only need to renew your StormScenes Footage Package license if you want to create new or derivative works with the footage after the term expires.
The footage in our catalog is divided into three rate classes (from highest to lowest): Premium Severe Weather, Severe Weather, and General Weather. The classification is listed in each video's description tag. Our Footage Packages allow you to choose a number of videos from each of these classes.
