StormScenes 'caught on tape' footage of car accidents and spinouts on an icy interstate made national headlines and garnered millions of viewers over the weekend of March 8 and 9. StormScenes partnered with Minneapolis-based BNVN to distribute this breaking news footage to outlets nationwide.

The Weather Channel to launch HD broadcast with StormScenes footage
The Weather Channel, the nationwide cable network based in Atlanta, Georgia, will begin broadcasting content in HD in 2008. StormScenes HD weather footage will appear regularly on the new high-definition programming.

WPXI-TV launches HD broadcast with StormScenes footage
NBC affiliate WPXI-TV Channel 11 became the first Pittsburgh TV station to broadcast their newscast in high-definition on October 6. WPXI contracted with StormScenes to provide HD extreme weather footage for use in promos and other in-house content.
